1. Local Processing

All tokenization, counting, and visualization processes occur locally in your browser. We do not transmit, store, or log the text prompts or tokens you input into the service. Input text is not placed in the URL or sent to analytics.

2. Information Collection

We use Google Analytics to collect basic usage metrics such as page views, browser types, and device information. We do not send the text you tokenize to analytics. Please do not enter personal information into optional contact messages unless you intend to email support.

3. Local Storage

TokenCount may use your browser's local storage to remember UI preferences such as dark or light mode and the tool language. This information remains on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

Our application relies on third-party tokenization libraries (such as tiktoken) which operate client-side. We do not share your interactions with these third parties.
